Swedish massage uses five styles of strokes, sliding or gliding, kneading, rhythmic tapping, friction and vibration/shaking in the manipulation of superficial and deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to promote relaxation, increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles.
It is very effective at relieving anxiety, stress and depression.The stimulation to the skin is deeply relaxing on an emotional and physical level and can promote healthy sleep which helps the body heal itself.
I respect my client's modesty at all times. The client is covered in soft towels, which are turned back to reveal only the area to be massaged at that time.
